Industry veteran Sharrann Simmons recently formed her own consulting business, Marketing Innovations. Ms. Simmons holds a BS and MS degree in Food Science from Purdue University and has also attended the Executive MBA program at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Graduate Management. Ms. Simmons has held leadership positions in international and domestic organizations, such as Colloides Naturals, Inc., International Specialty Products, FMC Corp., Bungle Edible Oil Corp., L.S. Health & Son and Durkee Industrial Foods. She has also been active in many professional organizations including IFT (Institute of Food Technologists), AACT (American Association of Candy Technologists), WFFC (Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce), AAPS (American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists), FMI (Food Marketing Institute) and CDMA (Commercial Development and Management Association).
