“Benicaros is now available in the European market for food, beverage, and supplement manufacturers,” said Robin Hesdahl, commercial director. “We will be presenting recently introduced product formats and highlighting how our upcycled, plant-based precision prebiotic fiber can fuel immune and gut health product innovation.”
NutriLeads’ new Benicaros product range will include new options with varying concentration levels of the active ingredient, Rhamnogalacturonan-I (RG-I), and with liquid and powder variants. These purity variations are designed to cater to various application demands. The company will showcase Benicaros gummies, as well as other prototype ideas for products designed to support immune and gut health for caregivers, athletes, and the general consumer market.
NutriLeads’ team will also be available to discuss new research, which provides evidence that Benicaros, at daily servings of at least 300 mg, can promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria like Bifidobacterium spp. and the production of essential short-chain fatty acids despite variations in gut microbiota compositions. Compared to standard prebiotics, Benicaros is also associated with lower gas production, and modulations which may train innate immune function, according to the company.
