The Sami-Sabinsa Group, along with Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director Dr. Muhammed Majeed were honored by the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), a 99-year old organization of over 400 Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations serving more than 450,000 members across India, with the mission to impact policy and legislation to foster balanced economic, industrial and social development.
 
The awards given at the 5th ASSOCHAM National Symposium on Nutraceuticals, held in New Delhi on September 26, 2019, were presented by Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Hon. Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Animal Husbandry.
 
The 2019 Indian Nutraceuticals Trailblazer Award was presented to Dr. Majeed, following up on the Shield of Honor award he received last year “In recognition of outstanding commitment and leadership in integrating technology with Ayurveda and shaping the Indian Nutraceutical Industry.”
 
The Best Herbal Research Company award was presented to Dr. Anju Majeed, Director, Sami Labs; the Best Nutraceutical Company award was accepted by Ms. Sunayana, daughter of Dr. Anju Majeed and granddaughter of Dr. Majeed; and the Best Nutraceutical Export Company honor was received by Shri V G Nair, CEO and Director, Sami Labs Limited.
 
Several days later and 6,000 km away, Sabinsa received the Best Tasting Beverage award at Vitafoods Asia in Singapore for Curcumin C3 Power Liquid, a demonstration of the versatility of the company’s GRAS affirmed Curcumin C3 Complex.
