DSM Partners with LBB Specialties for North American Distribution

LBB will work to improve customer service levels and increase DSM’s market share.

Royal DSM, a company specializing in health, nutrition, and bioscience, has formed a new strategic partnership with LBB Specialties, a distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients. The agreement will leverage LBB Specialties’ market expertise to improve customer service levels and increase market share for DSM’s ingredient portfolio for the North American dietary supplements market.
 
“We’re confident that LBB Specialties is the right partner to grow our customer base in the dietary supplements market,” said Eric Choban, regional vice president, HNC North America, DSM, said. “This arrangement will empower our teams to further provide customers with dedicated account management services and access to combined technical expertise from both parties.”
 
DSM will be in a better position to achieve greater market access for its vitamins, lipids, carotenoids, and nutraceuticals in North America, the company reports. “Our teams are fully equipped with a range of tailored product portfolios, backed by a commercially and operationally strategic platform that will give DSM’s strategic growth initiatives an added boost,” said Hank DeWolf, CEO at LBB Specialties.
