AlaskOmega, a brand of fish oil concentrates produced by Wiley Companies and sourced from wild-caught fish in Alaska, will be sponsoring the international travel awards for the 15th Congress of The International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids (ISSFAL). The four-day congress will be held in Nantes, France, from July 2^nd to July 5^th.
 
The primary objective of the awards is to encourage the participation of early-stage researchers, with a focus on supporting scholars from developing countries. Eligible candidates were invited to submit a 200-word summary fo their research activity and interests. The submissions were reviewed and selected by the ISSFAL Awards Committee. International travel awards range between $500 and $1,000.
 
AlaskOmega supported the awards in order to provide opportunities for researchers froom around the world to participate in the ISSFAL Congress and contribute to advancements in the field of fatty acids and lipids.
