MegaFood has launched a new line of Superfood Mushroom supplements, formulations made with 100% fruiting body mushrooms, and free from mycelium on grain fillers.
 
The fruiting bodies have been shown to contain higher levels of beta-glucans than myceliated grain products, according to MegaFood. Additionally, to ensure quality, MegaFood sourced greenhouse-grown organic mushrooms on natural substrates, with fresh air and ambient temperatures designed to mimic natural growth conditions.

The new Superfood Mushroom Stress Relief product, which combines reishi with ashwagandha is supported by an unpublished human clinical trial, which found that six weeks of supplementation was associated with reductions in measures of stress, according to the company.
