What’s Up with Supps will be hosting its annual SupplySide West afterparty at the event. The party will take place on Thursday, Oct. 31 at the House of Blues from 7 p.m. to midnight.
 
The event will feature celebrity industry icons, and offer attendees the chance to unwind after SupplySide West, network, and celebrate the trade show. The event’s proceeds will benefit Vitamin Angels, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health and nutrition in underserved communities worldwide.
 
What’s Up with Supps will also introduce newly appointed board members Elyse Lovett, Doug Lynch, Joey Savage, and Ruth Rodrigues.
 
Elyse Lovett, MBA, MS, has spent over 15 years in the industry across c-level marketing roles at prominent ingredient companies, and is the founder of a science-based marketing agency specializing in B2B marketing for dietary supplements and functional food/beverages.
 
Doug Lynch is the CEO of MarketWell Nutrition, where he has spent a decade leading the company in delivering innovative solutions to the dietary supplement, nutricosmetics, functional food, and natural product industries.
 
Joey Savage has over a decade of experience in the nutraceuticals industry, specializing in product development and scientific research. He is the founder of the Future Nutra Foundation and Savage Nutra, where he leads initiatives to advance nutrition science and product innovation.
 
Ruth Rodrigues is a marketing professional with a degree in nutrition and food. As marketing manager of SGS Nutrasource, a life sciences company dedicated to helping companies launch science-backed products, she is responsible for global communications and marketing strategy.
