Women in Nutraceuticals to Host Two Webinars In November

Women in Nutraceuticals (WIN), a nonprofit focused on gender equality in the nutraceutical industry, will be hosting two webinars in November.
 
Female Leaders and Menopause: Empowering Women in the Workforce” will be hosted by the WIN Mentorship Program on November 7 at 11:00 a.m. ET.
 
The event will feature five female panelists, discussing how menopause effects women’s careers, particularly those in leadership positions, and will explore strategies to ensure women remain a “vital force in the global workforce.”
 
The webinar will cover how menopause effects women in the workforce, statistics about career challenges related to menopause, and programs by governments and companies that support women experiencing menopause through awareness and professional support.
 
The event will be hosted by Sybille Buchwald-Werner, PhD, director of Vital Solutions and co-chair of the WIN mentorship committee and mentorship program.
 
Panelists include:
 

  • Leena Pradhan Nabzdyk, PhD, CEO of biotechnology company Canomiks.
  • Kayla Preece, ND, DABT, a naturopathic doctor who works as a scientist and toxicologist at SGS Nutrasource
  • Hanna Taipaleenmäki, a professor in the faculty of medicine in LMU Munich and an expert on women’s bone health
  • Joëlle Zingraff, PhD, co-founder of The Women Circle, a Swiss startup seeking to break taboos surrounding menopause and support women’s health.
 
Highlighting Contract Research Organizations (CROs) Focused on Women’s Health” will be hosted by WIN’s science committee on Nov. 14 at 10:00 a.m. ET.
 
The discussion will spotlight CROs making significant strides in women’s health, their diverse capabilities, and their innovative methods. Speakers will break down innovative methodologies tailored to women’s health research and how these organizations can support research and product development goals.

  • Zara Liew, director of business development at Lindus Health
  • Jessie Hawkins, PhD, founder and president of the Nutraceuticals Research Institute
