Sabinsa has made several new hires and promotions within its U.S. staff, including: Kim Merselis, sales manager; Darrin Fox, vice president of operations in Utah; Melissa Beddoes, operations manager; and Jeannette Fisher, marketing director.

Merselis joined the company as sales manager. Her previous experience includes working as business development manager at Nutrition Business Journal and, most recently, with Kyowa Hakko as director of customer experience. “I look forward to growing with Sabinsa and bringing traditional ingredients, backed by science, to the forefront of innovation,” said Merselis.

Fox has over 30 years of experience in production operations, including a previous stint at Sabinsa’s Utah manufacturing facility as plant manager from 2009 to 2012. “Sabinsa has a history of providing opportunities for everyone who is associated with the organization, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a team and a company that share the same values that I have,” said Fox. “We provide quality products in health and wellness, and our team truly cares for the customers we serve.”

Beddoes joined Sabinsa in 2002 and has been promoted to operations manager. Her responsibilities over the years have included inventory management and warehouse operations, as well as roles with the quality, manufacturing, and regulatory departments. “One of the significant highlights of my career has been the collaboration with the programming team to help develop and enhance the operating system database, streamlining processes and improving overall efficiency, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue fine-tuning our efficiency.”

Jeannette Fisher, RDN, has joined the management team as marketing director. She brings an in-depth knowledge of marketing, sales, nutrition, customer service, regualtory affairs, quality assurance, purchasing, and R&D. She spent nearly 20 years with Soft Gel technologies as national education manager, marketing director, and director of sales and marketing. She has also worked as a dietitian, in public health research and communications, with an independent nutrition store, and with Leiner Heatlh Products in corporate account management. “I’ve known of Sabinsa’s deep commitment to well-researched ingredients and championing best practices in all aspects of the nutraceuticals industry for many years, and am delighted to have joined this excellent company,” said Fisher. “This is a wonderful opportunity for me to continue my work in fostering better health.”
