PLT Health Solutions will be debuting new ingredients, new clinical science, and new delivery system options at SupplySide West.
 
The brand new ingredients are suitable for men’s health, sports/active nutrition, and energy categories. Ingredients that were previously launched, which will be appearing at SupplySide West for the first time, including offerings in muscle health, energy, mood, and sleep categories.
 
Each of these ingredients is backed by clinical research, and most are suitable for beverages.
 
PLT has been focusing on new ingredients in response to heightened demand for innovation, said Steve Fink, vice president of marketing for PLT Health Solutions. “We are coming off one of the most active periods of new ingredient introductions in the history of our company. This activity starts with listening to our customers, watching the market, and applying the creative, scientific, and technical resources to develop buttoned-up ingredient solutions that can spur disruptive new product development and enhance speed to market,” Fink said. “The ingredients we’ll be talking about at SupplySide West offer benefits in the fast-growing health categories.”
 
New Ingredients Launched Since Last Year
 
In addition to ingredients that will debut for the very first time in Las Vegas, PLT will also highlight new ingredients that have been launched since SupplySide West 2023. These incude:
 

• Strengthera Muscle Maintenance + Vitality, which has been clinically-evidenced to improve muscle strength, muscle endurance, and physical function in a population of women over the age of 55.
• Zynamite S, a water-soluble version of Zynamite, will enable formulation in beverages and other delivery systems where taste is an issue.
• Vanizem, a proprietary Aframomum melegueta (grains of paradise) extract that supports positive mood, improved sleep quality, and stress support.
• Serezin Restorative Sleep + Pain Relief, a formulation evidenced to improve multiple measures of sleep, pain reduction, alertness, and better mood.

 
PLT Experience Zone
 
PLT will also bring back its Experience Zone, which it introduced at last year’s SupplySide West event. This area of PLT’s booth will focus on delivery systems, featuring samples of gummies, beverages, and functional foods that include PLT ingredients, formulated to support physical and mental energy, mood, blood pressure, sports, cognitive performance, and more. These formulations will include many of PLT’s fast-acting, beverage-friendly, and clinically-supported ingredients.
 
Fink said that the company is launching novel ingredients to help consumer product companies innovative more quickly and effectively.
 
“Consumers want and reward innovation. Shareholders and stakeholders do also. The reason is borne out by success in the marketplace. A 2022 report by McKinsey stated that by 2026, more than 50% of global revenues would come from products and services that did not exist then”, he said. “SupplySide West is like coming home for us every year and a great opportunity for PLT to engage the industry and we look forward to meeting as many people as we can at the show and help them differentiate differently.”
