New follow-up data found that OmniActive Health Technologies’ Sleeproot low-dose valerian extract was associated with a statistically significant increase in sleep duration starting on the first day of use.

The new findings stem from a study published last year, in which 37 volunteers who took Sleeproot experienced reduced sleep latency as early as day three, improved measures of sleep efficiency, and improvements in occasional anxiety over an eight week period, compared to 35 volunteers who were in the placebo group.

Sleeproot is a standardized valerian root extract that is efficacious at low doses, which helps overcome the botanical’s typical organoleptic challenges. It is suitable for various formulations, including capsules, gummies, and ready-to-mix powders.
