TopGum Industries, a gummy supplement manufacturer, has acquired Island Abbey Nutritionals, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in gummy and lozenge supplements located on Prince Edward Island, Canada.
The transaction expands TopGum’s manufacturing and technological capabilities in North America and globally.
Island Abbey was founded in 2004, and operates a 65,000 square-foot facility featuring manufacturing technologies including starchless depositing, center-fill capabilities, and automated bottling and packaging lines, all in adherence to quality standards from FDA, NSF, GMP, SQF, and Health Canada.
The acquisition will enhance TopGum’s ability to serve North American customers through a supply chain spanning two continents.
