This nutraceutical ingredient was born out of research from scientists at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and further developed into a growing commercial opportunity by Brassica Protection Products LLC. With this new cooperation, CBC will launch SGS Broccoli Seed Extract to the growing health and nutrition markets in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore Taiwan and Vietnam.

Alex Grantz, general manager, export, CBC, said, “We are very proud to partner with Brassica that represents the high caliber suppliers CBC seeks to work with. Our pan-Asia coverage and technically trained staff can efficiently bring to multiple markets technologically advanced products to capture the growth in Asia-Pacific.”

SGS Broccoli Seed Extract is available at professional channels in the U.S. It contains glucoraphanin, a phytochemical naturally found in broccoli. When consumed, glucoraphanin converts to a potent antioxidant and cellular protector called sulforaphane. These enzymes eliminate many types of free radicals and environmental pollutants and trigger ongoing antioxidant action.
