CRN Welcomes New Members

Supplement brands, a contract manufacturer, an ingredient supplier, and more have joined the trade association.

The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) has announced its newest members, following an approval process by its board of directors earlier this month.

New voting members include Arizona Nutritional Supplements (ANS), Better Being Co., CoreFX Ingredients, and GNC. The newest associate members are David Wright Tremaine LLC and Cortex Group LLC.

“CRN is pleased to welcome these impactful industry leaders into the association,” said Steve Mister, president and CEO of CRN. “They join an energized, active member community of dedicated dietary supplement and functional food industry professionals finding common ground and collaborating to protect and grow our industry.”

Arizona Nutritional Supplements is a contract manufacturer of powders, tablets, capsules, and softgels founded in 1996, and has facilities in Chandler, Arizona and Miami Lakes, Florida, which exceed GMP standards.

Better Being Co. is a vertically-integrated manufacturer and distributor of vitamins, minerals, supplements, and personal care products. It was formerly known as Nutraceutical Corporation, and has been based in Utah for more than 30 years. Its brands include Solaray, KAL, Zhou, and Zand.

CoreFX Ingredients provides ingredients through is CoreNhanced delivery platform, which can transform raw nutrients into powdered ingredients like OmegaFX omega powders; its NutriCoreFX range of clean-label, plant-based dry nutritional oils; and LiposomalFX technology to enhance absorption and bioavailability.

GNC is a global health and wellness retailer with brands such as GNC Pro Performance, GNC Mega Men, and GNC Women’s, with domestic and international franchises, digital platforms, and wholesale partnerships.

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is a law firm specializing in services for food and beverage companies. Its regulatory and litigation teams specialize in the range of regulatory and compliance challenges facing the dietary supplement and functional food industry.  

Cortex Group LLC is a physician-led healthcare investment company currently in the process of launching a performance and wellness center in Connecticut.
