Known for its range of digestive health supplements, Enzymedica is expanding into the functional food market with the debut of its new Fiber+ Cookies. The company is also introducing a blood orange-flavor Fiber+ Gummy

Fiber is important for gut health, heart health and overall mood, but only an estimated 5% of U.S. adults meet the Institute of Medicine’s recommended daily target of 25 grams for women and 38 grams for men.

Fixing to fill the fiber gap, Enzymedica’s Fiber+ Cookies contain soluble corn fiber, a prebiotic fiber with scientific backing for supporting gut regularity and promoting beneficial gut bacteria. The cookies also contain MB40 probiotics, exclusive to Enzymedica, which have been researched to effectively combat belly bloat, even at room temperature.
