Fungi Perfecti, the maker of Host Defense Mushrooms supplements, has taken legal action against a company called JT Best Deals LLC for selling counterfeit products on third-party platforms.

The company was selling unauthorized and non-genuine Fungi Perfecti products on Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Goodszon’s websites. The court entered a judgment against the unauthorized seller for, among other things, trademark infringement and tortious interference of existing contracts and business relationships. The court also entered a permanent injunction that prohibits JT Best Deals from selling Fungi Perfecti products, or otherwise using its trademarks.

Fungi Perfecti stated that quality control and product safety can only be guaranteed when its supplements are purchased from a seller explicitly authorized by Fungi Perfecti, such as those listed here, or through the company’s own websites, fungi.com and hostdefense.com.
