The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED), a trade association representing the omega-3s industry, recently developed a clinical study database to organize all human clinical studies related to these nutrients.

Using this tool, GOED compiled two scientific reports on the relationship between skin health and supplementation with these nutrients, one of which is specific to dermatitis and one on psoriasis. Each report represents an effort to highlight the body of evidence around these specific skin health outcomes.

Both of the reports include background on the conditions, the number and type of articles published, commonly-found biomarkers, key influencers in the field, and suggestions for next steps in research.

The reports are now available for sale on GOED’s website for $99, and GOED members have free access to the reports.
