GOPO Rosehip with Galactolipids Available in the U.S.

Multiple studies demonstrate effectiveness of GOPO in joint care.

Jakemans, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of U.K.-based G.R. Lane Health Products Ltd., has launched GOPO Rosehip with Galactolipids. The natural, plant-based joint care supplement is clinically proven to offer support in some of the most difficult-to-treat chronic joint conditions, according to the company. The product will be available at major U.S. retailers including Vitamin Shoppe in the spring of 2016.

As the U.S. population ages, the prevalence of arthritis — one of the most common and disabling joint conditions — is expected to grow to affect 25% of U.S. adults by the year 2030. Experts in rheumatology and joint health believe GOPO has an important role to play in joint care, with studies suggesting that GOPO may be more effective than both acetaminophen and glucosamine.

GOPO Rosehip with Galactolipids is made from 100% specially cultivated natural rosehip and contains a high level of GOPO — a key component of the rosehip that may play a valuable role in the care of joints and joint tissues.

The extensive published research demonstrates that GOPO:

  • Reduces joint pain with 8 out of 10 osteoarthritis (OA) sufferers reporting pain reduction after just 3 weeks of treatment;
  • Improves joint mobility by reducing joint tenderness and swelling in patients with rheumatoid arthritis;
  • Reduces the need for painkillers with almost half of OA sufferers able to reduce their consumption of paracetamol;
  • Rebuilds joint tissues and cartilage.
“GOPO has been helping joint pain sufferers in other countries for many years,” said Jonathan Groves, president at Jakemans, Inc. “While the number of people experiencing joint problems is increasing, few newer or more effective solutions have been available to them, until now. We are excited to introduce this product to the U.S. market so that people experiencing joint problems—from senior citizens to elite athletes — can care for their joints and continue to enjoy an active lifestyle.”
