The Vitamin Shoppe, an omni channel specialty retailer of nutritional products, raised over $700K in 30 days through a robust event, in-store and digital campaign throughout the month of May to benefit Vitamin Angels, a global public health organization fighting to end malnutrition worldwide. Through this campaign, The Vitamin Shoppe reached more than 2.8 million mothers and children in the U.S. and around the world with life-changing vitamins and minerals.

In-store, customers had the opportunity to donate at the register, resulting in over $395K raised during the month-long event. The Vitamin Shoppe also hosted an Instagram hashtag campaign which asked users to post a photo of a mom who inspires them using the hashtag #MomsRule. For every post using the hashtag, The Vitamin Shoppe pledged to donate $5, resulting in an additional $15K raised to benefit Vitamin Angels.

The Vitamin Shoppe and Nature’s Value also co-hosted the 10th Annual Golf Outing benefiting Vitamin Angels on May 20th at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ. The funds raised from this event reached over 1.2 million mothers and children with essential vitamins and minerals. As a premier industry networking event, key attendees included The Vitamin Shoppe executives, and Nature’s Value CEO, Oscar Ramjeet.   
 
On the heels of this successful May campaign, The Vitamin Shoppe Health Enthusiasts will continue fundraising on behalf of Vitamin Angels by hosting a quarter drive at their headquarters in Secaucus, NJ throughout the month of June.
