Nutrition 21, LLC, a leading developer and marketer of efficacious, high-value, patented nutritional ingredients, has promoted Todd Spear, the team’s senior director of national accounts, to executive director of sales. Mr. Spear’s top priorities will be to continue to accelerate the growth of the company’s proprietary nutrition ingredients as well as to expand on existing customer networks and cultivate strategic partnerships.
 
Mr. Spear has served as a member of the Nutrition 21 team since January of 2013 and has been instrumental in the strategy development and launch of two of the Company’s leading, proprietary sports nutrition ingredients, Nitrosigine and Velositol. His extensive background in chemistry and the life sciences has enabled him to expertly communicate the consumer benefits of Nutrition 21’s portfolio of clinically-studied, patented and branded ingredients.
