Supplement manufacturer Genysis Brand Solutions, Salt Lake City, UT, has become the first company to join the Platinum Program, a liability insurance program offered by Chicago-based wholesale insurance broker RY Specialty, in collaboration with the United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA).
 
The Platinum Program is being made available to companies, such as Genysis, based on four distinct best-practice principals:

• Insurance risk management;
• Dietary supplement industry organizational, regulatory, compliance and analytical standard operating procedures;
• Extensive third party certification(s);
• Oversight of social media and internet operations.
