The Natural Products Association (NPA) will host its 2016 Natural Products Day on April 12-13 in Washington, DC. About 100 representatives from the retail and manufacturing sectors of the supplement industry will meet with members of Congress from 20 states.

“It’s important for members of Congress to understand how natural products contribute to the healthy lifestyles of millions of Americans and the impact the industry has on state and local economies,” said Dan Fabricant, PhD, executive director and CEO of NPA. “Natural Products Day is an opportunity for NPA members to build on existing relationships with lawmakers and cultivate new ones.”

The conference will kick off with a “Welcome to Washington” reception led by NPA’s government relations team, followed by an open house reception at NPA’s new national headquarters in downtown D.C.

Natural Products Day participants will meet with their elected officials throughout the day on April 13 followed by an evening reception on Capitol Hill.

The Natural Products Association Political Action Committee (NPA PAC) will also host an evening reception for all attendees on April 12. NPA PAC supports candidates who share the industry’s interests in healthy living.
