Embria Adopts EpiCor Fermentate Through ABC’s Adopt-an-Herb Program

Embria Health Sciences has adopted EpiCor fermentate as a part of the American Botanical Council’s (ABC) Adopt-an-Herb Program. Through its adoption, Embria Health Sciences helps ABC expand its nonprofit educational mission and keep its unique HerbMedPro database updated with the latest scientific and clinical research on this new dietary ingredient. 

HerbMedPro is a comprehensive, interactive online database that provides access to important scientific and clinical research data on the uses and health effects of approximately 250 botanicals.

EpiCor fermentate is a safe and natural whole food fermentation ingredient that supports the immune and digestive systems. It is made using baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) that goes through a proprietary fermentation process that yields a complex, nutrient-rich ingredient composed of immune-supporting metabolites, as well as proteins, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, polyphenols, and beta glucans. EpiCor is different from synthesized commodities such as nutritional yeast or isolated beta-glucan ingredients.
