Dr. Muhammed Majeed, founder & chairman, Sami-Sabinsa Group, formed Edkal Technologies in 2005 to provide IT services to the Group companies, with a few external clients. In early 2018, Edkal began its expansion into a global IT serviceby opening a U.S. development services and support center in addition to the Bangalore, India operation. 
 
Edkal offers digital engineering, cloud computing, enterprise business applications, process automation and analytics in pharmaceuticals and life sciences sectors, extending into financial and manufacturing domains. 
 
Mr. Satyajit Bandyopadhyay, a leader with proven success in strategic positioning for digital platform engineering, application R&D in IT services and manufacturing industries, involving both start-up & growth organizations, joins Edkal Technologies as the CEO and director.
