Aker BioMarine Appoints Marketing Director of Human Nutrition

Simo Echchafai previously worked with L'Oréal and Orkla.

Aker BioMarine has named former L’Oréal and Orkla executive, Simo Echchafai as its marketing director human nutrition.
 
Joining an established and successful marketing team, Echchafai brings 15 years of in-depth marketing experience from the health and beauty and consumer goods industries to his new role at Aker BioMarine. With considerable expertise in brand building, he will oversee the marketing team’s ongoing active partnerships and customer-centric work, assisting customers to demonstrate Antarctic krill’s health benefits.

Beginning his career with L’Oréal as Product Manager in Morocco, Echchafai held a number of senior marketing and general management positions with the cosmetics giant, both in the Middle East and Paris headquarter.
 
Moving on to join ORKLA’s Home and Personal Care division in Norway in 2015, working with innovation and marketing management projects in the Nordics, Echchafai was instrumental in the successful delivery of the ambitious growth strategy of the company’s skin care product line.
 
Echchafai holds an Executive MBA from BI, the Norwegian Business School.
