North Carolina-based Gaia Herbs is launching two new product lines. Hemp & Herbs consists of three formulas aimed at specific conditions; the company is also debuting three new digestive products. 
 
“Offering the benefits of full spectrum herbal liquid extracts in our patented Phyto-Caps has been at the forefront of Gaia Herbs innovation,” Angela McElwee, Gaia Herbs president and CEO, said. “We are excited to apply our expertise in herbal extraction, liquid encapsulation, and lab-testing of botanicals to create our new line of Hemp & Herbs Liquid Phyto-Caps. Five percent of all of our Hemp profits are donated to organizations working to apply regenerative principles to both land and communities through farming practices and the empowerment of traditionally marginalized farmers. These products have quickly become personal favorites of mine, both due to their efficacy and their tie to our deeper purpose and social impact.” 
 
Under the Hemp & Herbs line, Gaia Herbs will launch the formulas Relief, Calm, and Sleep.
 
Hemp & Herbs Relief is claimed to improve inflammatory response, and its contents include Chinese skullcap root, turmeric root, and black pepper extract. Hemp & Herbs Calm is made with passionflower and milky oats and intended to support relaxation. Lastly, Hemp & Herbs Sleep uses hops and California poppy, two herbs traditionally taken with the goal of improving sleep quality.
 
Three digestive herbal products, which will become available online next month, are GI Feel Good, Microbiome Cleanse, and Microbiome Food.
 
GI Feel Good’s liquid formula includes chamomile, fennel seed, and other herbs traditionally used in reaction to upset stomach symptoms brought on by stress. Microbiome Cleanse features black walnut, sweet wormwood, and other herbs traditionally considered to have a cleansing affect on the body’s digestive system. The cinnamon-flavored Microbiome Food formula is a plant-based prebiotic powder made with larch and acacia gum for its affects on digestion and the microbiome.
 
Each product was made without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, GMOs, or seeds. Each product is also vegan, and free of both gluten and soy. Five percent of all Gaia Herbs’ Hemp profits will be donated in the form of $5,000 grants to organizations credited with empowering marginalized, small-scale regenerative farming communities in the U.S., through the Gaia Herbs Roots Initiative. Clarenda “Cee” Standley, CEO of a boutique hemp and medicinal plant farm in North Carolina called Green Heffa Farms, was a grant recipient this year.
