Stauber Partners with Elemend Health to Supply Highly-Concentrated Colostrum Ingredient

The antibody-rich colostrum whey will be available for nutraceutical, food, beverage, sports nutrition, and pet food markets.

Stauber Performance Ingredients, Inc., an ingredients supplier for a broad spectrum of industries founded in 1969, recently announced a partnership with the company Elemend Health to bring to market HlgGH Gold, a highly-concentrated colostrum ingredient. It will be available to the nutraceutical, food, beverage, sports nutrition, and pet food markets.

“For over a decade, we have produced high-quality, antibody-rich colostrum whey to meet our customers’ needs,” Rob Sheffer, president and CEO of Elemend Health, said. “Our background in colostrum has allowed us to create a product that helps with gut and immunity issues so that people can enjoy life more fully. We are delighted to partner with Stauber as our exclusive distributor of HlgGH Gold to the human and pet food markets in the United States.”

HlgGH Gold Colostrum 40 was formulated to support healthy immune and digestive function. According to Stauber, it may help lower the incidence of diarrhea and intestinal disturbances, supports restoring a healthy gastrointestinal tract, and helps to maintain the gut’s epithelial barrier. The product features 40% immunoglobulin G (IgG) and contains casein-free whey fractions, such as proline-rich polypeptides (6.5%) and lactoferrin (2%) captured through Elemend’s PathWhey purification technology, which removes casein and other components which aren’t tied to immunological function.

“HlgGH Gold Clostrum 40 provides highly soluble, highly concentrated levels of antibodies with greater than 40% Immunoglobulin G (IgG),” Becki Schwietz, product manager and director, said. “The significant quantities of naturally occurring immunoglobulins, growth factors, and natural anti-microbial agents found in HlgGH Gold aid in healthy inflammatory responses, minimizing GI tract infections, promote muscle recovery, and help strengthen overall immunity. This unique ingredient can be used in a variety of applications, from capsules to protein powders.”
