Nutritional Growth Solutions, a global nutrition company focused on children’s health, recently launched Healthy Heights KidzProtein and KidzProtein Vegan shakes, formulated to support children’s development. The New product line includes ten products in total. The KidzProtein comes in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors, while the KidzProtein vegan line includes chocolate and vanilla flavors.
 
Initially launching in the U.S., the new nutritional shakes can serve as a breakfast or a snack between meals, containing a proprietary blend of micro- and macronutrients formulated to support optimal growth and development, along with a fruit and veggie blend. They complement an existing product line shown in a clinical study to help children grow in height and weight.
 
“There is a high demand from parents for a nutritional shake formula for children to support everyday wellness,” said Liron Fendell, CEO and managing director for Nutritional Growth Solutions. We created our evidence-based Healthy Heights KidzProtein range in both dairy and vegan versions to support the unique nutritional needs of children including those with dairy allergies. Milk allergy is the most common allergy among children, as well as intolerance to lactose.”
 
Both shake lines provide 10 grams of protein and a range of vitamins and minerals. The line allows parents to sneak nutrients into smoothies and other recipes, according to the company.
 
“It is formulated to fill common nutritional gaps,” Fendell said. “You cannot fool kids; the product has to be designed for flavor as well as their needs and preferences. The products contain real fruit and veggie powders for an extra boost of nutrition.” KidzProtein and KidzProtein Vegan are also supplemented with omega-3 fatty acids, which are incredibly important for brain and cognitive health and neurological development. This nutrient is often deficient in children’s diets.”
 
The vegan variety of shakes also contains increased levels of iron, zinc, vitamin B12, and folate, as gaps in these nutrients tend to be more prevalent in vegan diets.

KidzProtein vegan contains a combination of proteins from peas and fava beans, the two of which combined contain all of the essential amino acids, making it a complete protein source.
 
Fendell noted that following the U.S. launch, the company intends to expand its product line globally, and into more distribution channels.
