HP Ingredients Receives NSF/ANSI 455-2 Dietary Supplement GMP Certification

New independent certification affirms HP Ingredients’ commitment to transparency.

HP Ingredients’ manufacturing facility has earned NSF’s NSF/ANSI 455-2 Dietary Supplements Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certification.

According to David Trosin, managing director, Global Health Sciences Certification at NSF, the NSF/ANSI 455 GMP standards are designed to strengthen safety, quality and trust throughout the supply chain, and combine regulatory requirements with retailer quality requirements and reduce the number of audits and financial costs associated with audits. Utilizing GMP guidelines assists companies in developing and maintaining proper controls in their manufacturing process so that products are processed, manufactured and labeled in a consistent manner, and meet quality standards.

The NSF/ANSI 455 GMP mark indicates that an NSF auditor has audited a facility, checked documents and deemed the facility compliant with GMP regulations for production. We’re pleased to grant NSF/ANSI 455 GMP certification to HP Ingredients’ manufacturing facility. Independent certification from NSF demonstrates a commitment to safety and quality of dietary supplement ingredients and compliance with U.S. GMP requirements.”

“We all believe that our new GMP certification will bring not only HP Ingredients but our entire family of brand partners to the next level to satisfy increasingly stringent consumer vetting for safety and quality,” said Jessica Barnett, COO of HP Ingredients. “I want to thank the HP Ingredients team, whose assistance and support were invaluable.”
