Lauren Aronson Joins Amin Talati Wasserman, LLP

The advertising lawyer was previously a partner at Crowell & Moring, LLP.

Lauren Aronson recently joined Amin Talati Wasserman, a regulatory law firm specializing in the food, drug, and cosmetic industries, as a partner in Washington, D.C. In her role, she will head its advertising and consumer protection practices, and build upon other business solutions. She was previously a partner at Crowell & Moring LLP.

Aronson advises clients on the development, substantiation, approval, and defense of advertising claims in a wide range of product categories, and regularly represents companies in advertising challenges before the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the BBB National Programs, and in investigations brought by the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general. Her practice is wide-ranging and includes compliance with the evolving rules relating to social media, native advertising, testimonials and endorsements, consumer reviews, warranties, rebates, environmental marketing claims, sweepstakes and promotions, automatic renewals, pricing, and more.

Aronson was included in Chambers’ “Best Lawyers in America” for advertising, and this year, Legal 500 named her a “Next Generation Partner” for advertising and marketing litigation. She is currently co-chair of the ABA Consumer Protection Committee and served as vice chair from 2018 to 2021.

“I had the privilege of working with Lauren at a prior firm and have seen first-hand just how good she is,” said managing partner Ivan Wasserman. “I’m thrilled to be practicing with her again, and know how much knowledge, skill, creativity, and dedication she will bring to the firm and our clients.”

“As a boutique firm focused on consumer protection with an international reputation for excellence in the industries it serves, Amin Talati was the only choice for the next chapter in my career,” said Aronson. “I am so excited to help take the firm’s already strong advertising practice to the next level, and I know my clients will enjoy the benefits of working with a boutique firm with a renowned team of regulatory, consumer class action, and IP attorneys.”
