Dr. Tieraona Low Dog Joins NOW Board of Directors

Low Dog is an expert in dietary supplements, integrative medicine, and women’s health, and has been in the field of natural medicine for over 30 years.

Tieraona Low Dog, MD, has been appointed to the board of directors at supplement company NOW. Low Dog is an expert in integrative medicine, and is a physician, educator, and author of four books, 54 peer-reviewed scientific articles, and 24 chapters for medical textbooks.
 
She has been honored by several organizations, including by Time Magazine as “Innovator in Complementary and Alternative Medicine,” NPR’s The People’s Pharmacy Award for Excellence in Research and Communication for the Public Health, the New York Zen Center’s Compassionate Care Award, the Integrative Healthcare Leadership Award, and the American Herbal Product Association’s Herbal Insight Award.
