CRN to Commemorate 50th Anniversary at ‘Science In Session,’ ‘Now New Next’ Events

The back-to-back nutritional science and business conferences will take place in Dana Point, CA October 3-6.

The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) will commemorate its 50th anniversary at its annual lineup of events, ‘Science in Session’ and ‘Now New Next,’ which will be taking place at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, CA October 3-6.

“Now New Next” will take place October 4-6, with a welcome reception the evening of October 3. The event will feature keynote speakers offering their perspectives on society, technology, and wellness.
 
Dr. Vin Gupta, MD, MPA, NBC News Medical Analyst, health policy expert, and chief medical officer, Amazon Pharmacy, will uncover key connections in current and future healthcare trends and their business impacts—and how industry can adapt and thrive.
 
Dr. Sammy Ramsey, founder & director of the Ramsey Research Foundation, will inspire attendees to think outside the box as he shares his process for using unconventional thinking to overcome roadblocks with a unique approach anyone can use to creatively tackle complex problems and arrive at innovative solutions to the challenges they face.

Speakers include: Regan Bailey, PhD, RD, associate director of the Precision Nutrition Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture, Texas A&M University; Jeffrey Blumberg, PhD, FASN, FACN, CNS-S, research professor, Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Tufts University; and Paul Coates, PhD, former director of the Office of Dietary Supplements, retired NIH adjunct professor, school of public health, Indiana University-Bloomington.
