Ingredient Optimized has partnered with Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company Supriya Lifescience Ltd., which will manufacture and distribute its IoProtein (stylized as ‘ioProtein’) in India. The partnership will help to meet the demand for wider distribution, fasted production, and advanced manufacturing capabilities in India. Supriya Lifescience will lead manufacturing and marketing of the optimized protein powders in India.

Ingredient Optimized’s patented IoWhey technology is supported by ten clinical studies which back its health claims of absorption and performance-based benefits, according to the company. In comparison studies, IoWhey was able to achieve similar benefits with 25% less protein than standard whey concentrates.

Earlier this year, Ingredient Optimized partnered with Australian distributor and co-manufacturer Phyto Therapy to expand its IoPea into the market globally. Phyto Therapy has two decades of history in new product developments within the dietary supplements industry, and specializes in the sports nutrition space.
