Omega-3 supplement brand Nordic Naturals has partnered with Sam’s Club to begin rolling out its Ultimate Omega and Algae Omega supplements in October. The collaboration marks the latest stride in the brand improving access and affordability of its supplements, after partnerships with Walmart for omega-3 supplements and Sprouts Farmers Markets with probiotic products.

The two products will be featured in exclusive bulk sizes.

“This is an important step for us to join forces with Sam’s Club stores and provide their shoppers with our premium high-quality omega-3 supplements,” said Brian Terry, director of U.S. retail sales for Nordic Naturals. “This partnership not only expands our retail footprint, but also aligns perfectly with our mission to make quality omega-3 supplements more accessible and affordable.”

Ultimate Omega supplements contain 1,280 mg total omega-3s in soft gel format, sourced from wild-caught sardines and anchovies. The supplements are lemon-flavored, in order to reduce fishy aftertaste, and have received over ten industry awards, the company reports. According to ClearCut, Nielsen, and SPINS, Ultimate Omega is the top-ranked omega-3 formula in the U.S.

Algae Omega, a vegetarian- and vegan-friendly option, enables plant-based dieters to meet daily EPA and DHA requirements. The supplements contain 715 mg total omega-3s derived from microalgae, and are certified as 100% vegetarian by the American Vegetarian Association. The supplements are non-GMO and hexane free.

“As we continue to expand into new retail avenues, our focus remains on delivering products that empower individuals to take charge of their health,” said Terry. “We are confident that this collaboration with Sam’s Club stores will enable us to reach a wider audience, sharing the transformative benefits of omega-3 supplementation.”
