Sirio Pharma Launches Personalized Women’s Health Platform at Vitafoods Europe

The new portfolio targets PMS, fertility, pre- and postnatal care, and menopause support.

Sirio Pharma, a nutraceutical contract development and manufacturing organization, announced that it’s launched a new women’s health platform to the North American marketplace. The portfolio of over two dozen formulations, many of which are made in the U.S., include products personalized to suit women’s health concerns across various life stages, from puberty to menopause.

The new products, comprising gummies and softgels, offer health and wellness support across areas like gut health, sleep, urinary tract health, weight management, menopausal care, and fertility.

Among Sirio’s new products is MenoBalance, a gummy for menopause related issues which features Novasoy, ADM’s soy isoflavones ingredient clinically supported to reduce hot flashes and brain fog, and promote bone mineral density. This is the first time Novasoy was delivered in a gummy at clinically-relevant dosages.

Sirio’s pre and postnatal formulations include branded ingredients from suppliers including KD Nutra and Gnosis by Lesaffre. Me&Mum, for instance, is a softgel featuring DHA, vitamins, minerals, and herbal extracts that assist with hormonal hair loss, Sirio reports.

The company will debut its InnoFolate prenatal softgel, featuring Sirio’s vegan Plantegrity technology. The prenatal formulation features Quatrefolic from Gnosis by Lesaffre, which is evidencd to maintain folate levels during pregnancy, while providing essential nutrients including DHA.

Another new product is Sirio’s Beauty & Power, which combines iron and collagen in a gummy to support energy and skin health, respectively.

The company’s new postpartup supplement concept, Mind Sharpener, features mushrooms and ashwagandha alongside other nutrients to combat postpartum brain fog and promote cognitive wellness.

Women are taking more holistic approaches concerning their wellbeing, with more than a third of women expressing preference for nutritional supplements and a significant number of those seeking out formulations that target specific life stages, Sirio reported, citing market research from Euromonitor.

Several of the remaining products in Sirio’s new line of women’s health products feature the company’s vegetarian, carrageenan-free Plantegrity technology, as well as pectin-based gummies in low/no sugar options.

“Sirio is perpetually developing complex formulations utilizing the highest quality ingredients with the strongest evidence base, bioavailability and efficacy,” said Sara Lesina, general manager of Sirio Europe & Americas. “We are also continuously bringing in branded ingredient partners on our newest concepts, so that customers and consumers have access to best-in-class nutra products.”
