Brandhive’s Jeff Hilton will participate in the SupplySide Summit “Delivering on the Clean Label Expectation” (#CleanLabelSummit) on Wednesday, Oct. 5, (3:30 to 5 pm) followed by “What’s the Buzz on Innovative Ingredients?” on the Center Stage on Thursday, Oct. 6 (2:30 to 3 pm).
The focus of the Clean Label Summit will be how consumer demands for clean label have driven innovation in the food, beverage and supplement industries, and will include a discussion on how this has impacted how ingredients are sourced and manufactured. In his session, “Navigating the Consumer Market: Demographics, Marketing & Regulatory Considerations,” Mr. Hilton will be joined by industry experts from Carter Regulatory Group and Euromonitor to discuss the business impact of regulatory practices, best practices to understanding consumer mindset, and the connection between clean label and ethical/sustainability labeling for consumers. The session will take place on Level 3, South Seas J.
On Oct. 6 from 2:30 to 3 pm, Mr. Hilton will host an interactive session with representatives from three leading ingredient suppliers: Balchem, Gencor and OmniActive Health Technologies. The discussion will be centered on how branded ingredients with clinical science and proven efficacy can achieve “buzz” within the supplement and functional food industries. Session participants will learn how to select supply chain partners with the greatest opportunity for long-term success. The discussion will include insight into the business of three distinct and successful B2B companies within the industry.
