Suntheanine®
NutriScience Innovations has launched Suntheanine®, a patented form of L-theanine manufactured and enzymatically synthesized by Taiyo Kagaku. Suntheanine is said to prevent anxiety from caffeine, promote alpha brain wave activity (in­­­­­ducing relaxation), improve learning ability, improve the taste of foods and supplements and suppress behavior problems of pets. Suntheanine is 100% water soluble, stable in pH 3.0-6.6 and does not degrade when heated at 121° Celcius for five minutes, making it suitable for liquid formulations and beverage applications.
