DT Packaging Systems has launched the Swiftpack Quantum electronic counter for tablets and capsules, the EKC tablet counting device for automated pharmacy applications and the semi-automatic Fillit liquid filler. The Swiftpack Quantum electronic counter is meant for lower-speed applications (up to 50 bottles per minute). This compact 12-track machine has no change parts, and for cleaning purposes, all contact parts can be quickly removed without using tools. In addition, the machine provides a user-friendly interface, including touch screen and memory storage of product parameters.

The Enhanced Kalish Cell (EKC) tablet counting device, which was de­signed for automated pharmacy applications, such as Consolidated Mail Order Pharmacies and Central Prescription Processing Pharmacies. The EKC features DT optical counting technology for 100% accurate counts. In addition, vibratory product feeding provides high throughput with no product damage, and product path and discharge have been designed to ensure no product loss. No tools are required for product changeover.

Lastly, DT Kalish Fillit semi-automatic fillers have a simple design for fast cleanup and no-tools changeover. Capable of expanding with production demands, Fillits are modular and able to handle consistencies as thin as water or as thick as syrup.
