NOW Foods Debuts Pet Supplement Line

By: Lisa Olivo

NOW Foods, Bloomingdale, IL, is launching a new line of quality pet supplements formulated specifically to support the health and wellness of pets. Developed under the guidance of Dr. Barbara Royal, DVM, CVA, a renowned Midwestern veterinarian and pioneering expert in holistic animal care, the NOW Pets line offers products specifically tailored to address today’s most common pet health concerns.

NOW Pets has been certified by the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC). The NASC is an organization that protects and enhances the integrity of the animal health product industry by promoting the well-being of non-human food chain animals that are given animal health supplements by their owners. They work together with concerned and committed manufacturers of animal health supplements to improve the quality of these products.

NOW Pets products are intended to support all aspects of pet health, supporting immune system health, normal joint structure and function, cardiovascular health, a healthy mood, a lustrous coat, and much more. Ingredients and ingredient combinations are selected based on recommendations from Dr. Royal and supported by the latest clinical research.

Launching in September the company will premiere Pet Joint Support. Many cats and dogs experience joint flexibility and mobility issues as they age due to normal daily exercise and activity. This is why veterinarians often recommend a healthy diet complemented with health supplements for occasional discomfort associated with routine daily activity. An additional supplement, Pet Omega-3 Support provides omega-3 fatty acids to help support joint health, normal brain function, and a normal immune response to seasonal challenges.

Products slated for October release include:

Pet Pure Lysine Powder, to support a healthy immune system, normal respiratory health, and ocular health; along with Pet Weight Management Support, designed to support proper weight and a healthy appetite with the help of natural botanicals and Carnitine.

Other products slated for release through the rest of the year include: Pet Relaxant; Pet Joint, Skin & Coat Support; Pet GI Support; Pet Allergy Support; Pet Digestive Support; Pet Urinary Support; and Pet Immune Support.
