Capstone Nutrition, Ogden, UT, a non-branded contract manufacturer of health and dietary supplements, has appointed Kevin Elsberry as COO.
 
He has 19 years of manufacturing management experience, including having led four “Lean Transformations” in the areas of nutraceuticals, food, events and high-tech. Notably, Mr. Elsberry led the nutraceutical operations turnaround at Schiff Nutrition International as vice president of manufacturing operations from 2011 to 2013, and the Shingo Prize winning Lean Transformation at EFI Electronics, as vice president of operations and engineering from 2006 to 2010.
 
“I look forward to working with Capstone’s team at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and supporting the company’s mission to deliver high quality nutritional products and outstanding customer service,” said Mr. Elsberry. 
 
His appointment follows a successful restructuring, leadership change, and the implementation of a cultural initiative, which together have enabled Capstone to make significant strides in regaining its industry leading position.
