Alpha Packaging Names Terry Moody as Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Moody brings over 30 years of experience in specialty manufacturing to Alpha.

Terry Moody has joined Alpha Packaging, St. Louis, MO, as chief executive officer.  Alpha, a portfolio company of Irving Place Capital, is a leading blow molder of bottles and jars for rapidly growing consumer markets, including the nutrition, pharmaceutical, personal care and niche food and beverage categories. Mr. Moody brings over 30 years of experience in specialty manufacturing to Alpha.
 
Mr. Moody joins Alpha from Fives Group where he was CEO of its Metal Cutting & Composites strategic business unit. Fives designs and manufactures a wide range of process equipment and production lines for the world’s largest industrial companies. In his role, Mr. Moody had responsibility for over 1,500 employees, 240 sales and service professionals and 8 facilities located in North America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Moody also served on the Executive Committee of the France-based industrial conglomerate.
 
Prior to his role at Fives, Mr. Moody was executive vice president of global operations at Victor Technologies in St. Louis, MO, a global leader of cutting, welding and gas control equipment. Victor Technologies was a portfolio company of Irving Place Capital before being acquired by Colfax Corporation in 2014.
