Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) has become one of the most popular buzzwords in healthy aging, according to Bioenergy Life Science (BLS). The ingredient supplier will be on hand at SupplySide West to share what they’ve learned about this essential coenzyme and how to gain market share in the market of supplements with NAD+ boosting benefits.
“BLS is committed to science-backed innovation that will set our customers apart from the competition,” said Marianne McDonagh, vice president of sales. “We listen to the market and to our customers. Then, we develop natural, clean, alternative solutions to fill in the gaps and help people live healthier, longer lives from the inside out. We will continue to lead the industry’s evolution through innovation and by advancing technology in ways that have never been done before.”
NAD+ drives cellular energy production and DNA repair, along with being involved in many metabolic functions. “A decline in NAD+ levels, whether due to age, stress, lifestyle, poor diet, and other factors, may accelerate the overall aging process,” said McDonagh.
NAD+ levels begin to drop when one reaches their 20s or 30s, and these declines may be associated with brain fog, loss of stamina, low energy, and poor sleep quality, McDonagh noted.
BLS’s NAD+ boosting ingredient, RiaGev, will be available for attendees to try at SupplySide West, along with free NAD+ test kits.
“Just return it to BLS by mail to discover your current levels. Along with your results, we will send you samples of RiaGev, which is more efficient and works more effectively than other NAD-boosting options on the market,” said McDonagh. “We will invite you to retest your NAD levels after trying RiaGev twice daily for one week. We believe you’ll be thrilled by the change.”
RiaGev is available in multiple formats including sustained release, designed to mimic food digestion to provide superior benefits to the consumer, and a water-soluble version which can be used in food and beverages. The water-soluble version is now available in citrus flavor to assist with a product’s flavor profile.
One visitor to BLS’s booth will also win a pickleball set, which includes four paddles, balls, and a carrier bag. “Just help us share our news with your friends and followers,” said Sydney Staedt, marketing manager. “Watch for details and entry instructions, which will be posted on our LinkedIn and Instagram feeds during SupplySide West. The winner will be selected after the event.”
At the event, BLS will also introduce Ribovite, an ingredient designed to increase the oral bioavailability of B vitamins, helping to distinguish vitamin products from the competition.
“Ribovite is a much-needed game changer because it delivers improved bioavailability, enhanced efficacy, and it’s both clean-label and GRAS-affirmed,” said McDonagh. The ingredient is a turnkey solution for improving the absorption of water-soluble vitamins in premixed powders, tablets, gummies, and beverages.
