Cypress Systems Inc., Madera, CA, a privately held California Corporation, and manufacturer of SelenoExcell, Chromium GTF Excell and the NutraFeast line of nutritional yeast products, has hired Kimbirly Orr to help further develop its growing sales and marketing strategy.

Ms. Orr’s breadth of senior management experience includes sales, marketing strategy, PR, social media, event management, and business development. She is an award-winning executive who can assess and innovate strategic sales, marketing and public relations programs to support brand growth and increase profitability.

Ms. Orr has over 35 years of professional marketing expertise and has worked for Colgate-Palmolive, A.C. Nielsen, Entertainment Merchants Association, New Hope Natural Media/Penton, and UBM. In 2007, she launched a strategic marketing agency, Knock Out Performance. Initially, she joined Cypress Systems in 2015 as a sub-contractor to develop and execute social media platforms for the company and now oversees marketing and business development. She is a firm believer in ending cancer in our lifetime and shares the company’s mission to wage war against disease and suffering through science-based nutrition.

“Kimbirly has brought a strategic marketing and sales focus to our company,” said Paul A. Willis, CEO of Cypress Systems Inc. “We believe our rich history with ‘Gold Standard’ clinical research, coupled with market leadership, and a strategic sales and marketing focus will add to our powerful team.”

The company also announced a new sales and marketing distribution agreement with functional ingredients distributor AIDP. Under this Agreement, AIDP will market and sell the full line of branded ingredients, including SelenoExcell and Chromium GTF Excell to the functional foods and nutraceutical industries.

Cypress Systems’ SelenoExcell High Selenium Yeast is supported by a Clinical Trial Agreement with the Division of Cancer Prevention at the National Cancer Institute and has been the sole intervention agent in a series of cancer prevention and health related trials. The addition of SelenoExcell and the other food forms of organically bound mineral products will further enhance AIDP’s position in providing functional food solutions to food, beverage and dietary supplement manufacturers.

“AIDP is constantly striving to develop partnerships with like-minded ingredient companies who are committed to supplying dietary ingredients backed by the highest standards in science, quality and customer service which we can offer to our customers. As the mineral dietary market insists on higher quality standards for organically bound minerals the unique range offered by Cypress will be a great addition to our Branded Mineral Range, ” said Mark Thurston, president of AIDP. “We’re thrilled to partner with Cypress Systems, whose long history in the functional ingredients space, and goals for the future, are well aligned with ours.”

“We are excited to be partnering with an industry leader such as AIDP,” said Paul A. Willis, CEO of Cypress Systems Inc. “We believe Cypress Systems’ rich history with ‘Gold Standard’ clinical research, coupled with the market leadership of AIDP, will make a powerful team in which the industry can place their full confidence.”
